The Kitchen

Most people think that the kitchen is the best feature at Wallys.  Designed to let a large number of people cook at once the kitchen has multiple work stations and cooking tops with a combination of gas and electric cooking Hobbs.  Fully equipped with everything you will need including a six burner gas BBQ (outside on the deck of course!)

Six fridges/Two freezers mean there is loads of room to store your food and wine as well as lots of under bench storage for your dry goods. 
 

Bedrooms

Lets face it, a good nights sleep is one of the most important aspects of backpacking.  Keeping this in mind the bedrooms at Wally’s have been designed to give each guest as much space as possible.  Instead of jamming as many bunks as possible into our rooms, the emphasis was on creating a relaxing and comfortable environment.  All the dorm beds at Wally’s are comfortable and new with high-density foam mattresses that provide a great nights sleep. A fresh white sheet, pillow and pillow case are included in the bed tariff.

Family, Double & Twin Bed Rooms

Wallys offers 8 family/double/twin rooms for those couple who value a little privacy or want a break from sleeping in dorms.  All our double beds are new with quality inner sprung mattresses. You will enjoy new sheets and duvets which are included in the cost of the room. We also have two doubles with thier own en-suite.

 

Cottage

Wallys has a private en-suite cottage which can cater for up to 8 people

BBQ Area

Wally’s has an outstanding BBQ / outdoor living area.  Designed specifically to make the most of the Napier climate, the BBQ area enjoys sun from early in the morning to enjoy your coffee outside right through until the evening. The outdoor area includes four BBQ tables and a wide rail round the deck that doubles as extra seating.
 

 

 

Bathrooms

The bathrooms at Wally’s are all brand new and scrubbed clean every day.  The large bathrooms are designed to give our guests privacy, and the gas water system ensures you will receive a quality shower with constant hot water.  All bathrooms have new tiled floors and are freshly painted.
 

TV Lounge

Enjoy Wally’s TV lounge with 29” TV/DVD Player with over 300 free dvd's for you to choose from. The lounge is there for those days and nights when all you want to do is relax in front of the TV or sit down and have a game of cards/games. Our TV lounge is the perfect room to chill out and relax in.  We also have an extensive library for you to select or exchange a book from. We also have 4 hi-speed computer screens/wireless options
